New England Patriot superstar quarterback Tom Brady suspended four games for his role in the Deflategate scandal. Investigators have concluded that Brady, at the least, likely knew of the action taken to lower the psi inflation of New England Patriot game balls for the 2014-2015 season Superbowl. Brady, who has said he had no involvement or knowledge of the football deflation incident will serve his 4 game suspension at the beginning of the 2015-2016 season. The suspension is without pay and was handed down by the league.
Brady has repeatedly sidestepped questions about his involvement or knowledge of the activities leading many to believe he is being less than honest with the public about the events. His previous statement, “I would never do anything to break the rules”, seems to be more of a falsehood with every bit of evidence that is uncovered about the events. A television station recently let it’s host and guests feel NFL balls with proper inflation and balls with the psi of the New England Patriot balls in an attempt to tell which were which. Surprisingly, every person who tried (even those with no knowledge of football) could tell the difference between the regular ball and the deflated version. It’s very difficult to believe a professional quarterback wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.
